Noose Flush

The racists are not equal!

No, it's not deja vu all over again. Just my way of apologizing for stealing so many of Ann Coulter's facts on the reality of racism on our college campuses. She says there are "legions" of examples, but she gives only these:

At Ole Miss in 2003, dorm room doors were defaced with "vile racial epithets" which resulted in mass protests and a "Say No to Racism" march. When it was found that the perpetrators were black students, no charges were brought.

At the College of Wooster in Ohio in 2005, dorm walls were posted with "obscenity-laced racist and anti-Semitic" fliers which were "instantly blamed on 'typical white males,' even though all the letter I's in the epithets were dotted with little hearts. Breadcrumbs left by the culprits included the message 'Vote Goldwater' among the obscenities." The culprits were revealed to be "a group of leftist students led by a black studies major."

This year the campus of George Washington University was papered with "anti-Muslim" fliers. When the conservative student group Young Americans For Freedom was blamed, "the dean called for the expulsion of the culprits and the university demanded that YAF officers sign a statement disavowing 'hate speech.'" After it was clear that the fliers had been distributed by leftists, including a member of Iraq Veterans Against War, "the matter was dropped".

At Claremont McKenna College in 2004 a professor, Kerri F. Dunn -- who had announced she was considering converting to Judaism -- reported her car as vandalized with racist and anti-Semitic graffiti; her tires were slashed and her windows shattered. "Shut Up" had been spray painted on her hood. She blamed her own students: "How else would [the vandals] believe I was Jewish unless they were in my class?"

She gained a national platform by the vandalism. The campus was shut down for a day of rallies in her honor. Lt. Stan Van Horn of the local police said campus patrols had been increased as a result. "I've been here for 26 years," he said, "and this is the most severe hate crime I've seen." "This was a well planned out act of terrorism," Dunn said. "And I don't believe for one second it was one person. I think that there's a group here, a small group, but I do believe that there is a group here that perpetuates this in all different kinds of ways."

Then eyewitnesses identified Dunn as the one who had vandalized her own car. "This is like a very big deal if they think I’m a suspect,” Dunn sputtered. She was later convicted of filing a false police report.

At Duke University in 1997, "a black doll was found hanging by a noose from a tree at the precise spot where the Black Student Alliance was to be holding a rally against racism. Two black students later admitted they were the culprits and were immediately praised for bringing attention to the problem of racism on campus." The president of Duke later described the hoax as a "protest" against racism.

And of course, again at Duke, and more serious than graffiti and fliers, there is the famous case of the white girl who falsely accused three members of the college basketball team of raping her. In a blatant example of real racism, before they were even charged the innocent boys were overwhelmingly condemned by both faculty and student body. Yep. Uh huh. Those poor three black basketball players. Yep.

...

...

Oh all right, they were white, and it was lacrosse, and the white girl was actually a black girl. But institutional racism on campuses is still a big problem. I mean racism against minorities. I mean minorities not in terms of actual numbers, but in the political sense, of non-white-male and sometimes non-asian. You know, the stupid ones, like Nobel-laureate James Watson proved.

I wish I was black -- or a lefty or a woman or a gay ... same thing -- so I could do scummy things and be called a hero for it. If I could puke out all my hatreds and get to disguise it as social protest and political theatre that would be fantastic for me. I'd feel so good about myself.

If the lefty liars weren't so dishonest, I couldn't say these things and claim it was irony. That would be really horrible for me. Then everyone would know that I'm serious when I say things like let's have a "Say Hello to Racism" march. You bring the torches. I'll bring the rope. God I hate those blacks. And women too, and the fags. Yeah that's right, I hate both women and fags. What does that leave me for sex? Don't try to confuse me. I hate them all because they're different than me. That's bad. Everyone should be the same as me. Anyone who's different should be destroyed. Lynched, or raped, or both. Yep. Uh huh. Maybe have their car spray-painted. I'm not very good at ranking my hate-responses.

What? I'm vile? Um. I'm really a woman gay black. So let's just let the matter drop.

Unfortunately, web sources that list the many false claims of racism tend to run along these lines -- "Storm Front" for gawd's sake, run by Don Black, former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan ... don't click there unless you want to run up their traffic. White power used to be such a good thing. It was a kind of laundry detergent, and the slogan of the Democrats. Well. It's almost like a conspiracy. Idiots to the left of me and idiots to the ... well, not to the right, but in the sewer tunnels beneath my feet. (For a credible site, cf. this.)

I do like to get stupid. It's my way of trying to illustrate stupidity. Y'see? Allow me to attempt to seem intelligent for a moment. When faced with the kind of hanging effigy and scrawled epithet racism that we've looked at -- meaningless save for emotions, fraudulent or immature in origin -- let's ask one primary question. Cui bono? Who benefits? Well? We know who benefits by who has benefited. The lefties have benefited. The pranksters. The self-seekers. Those who benefit by making thoughts into crimes have benefited. The Left.

I'm sure there are the masturbating racists, who get off on their secret images. They are the panty-sniffers, against whom the offense-mongers rally and march -- when the offense-mongers are not themselves responsible ... well, they're never responsible. Culpable. It is pathetic. As for the graffiti boys, they are pubescent girls who pretend to be poltergeists.

Then there are the real racists. The actual lynchers, or would-be. They don't go on Jerry Springer. They don't do a lot of shouting. The small fear of an actual cross-burning brings them no satisfaction -- as panty-sniffing no longer satisfies the rapist-murderer. They are their own sort of jihadists, only they are rare, nowadays, very rare. We have, most of us, shifted our hatreds away from such dinosaur concerns as theirs. Those of us who hate, most of us, like you and me, hate actions, not people.

I, for example, hate. So great is my hatred that under certain conditions I would be capable of horrific violence. Has nothing to do with color or gender or beliefs or private practices. There is no group of fellow-travelers I can join. There is no random person upon whom I can pour it out. Such hatreds as these damage, generally, only those consumed by them.

Yes, there is overt racism. We find it two places. On campuses, against white males. And on the internet, from impotent neo-nazis and the like. We do find a surreptitious racism that pulls black drivers over and asks them where they're going. Where you goin', boy? I have to imagine it. Others have to live with it and deal with it on a regular basis. Double standard. No wonder some find racism where I see none. No wonder they see it where there is none. But the only institutional racism is that which we find on the left. The kind that acts out and claims it's right. The kind that doesn't get prosecuted unless there's a false police report involved. Well, not in the Duke "rape" case -- the false-accusing not-raped black dancer got an offer from jesse jackson to pay for her tuition ... but at least the false-prosecutor Nifong got prosecuted. So that's something.

What I want is an even playing field. What I want is equal treatment before the law. I want a single standard. I want double standards to be condemned.

I want justice.

It should be noted that in the College of Wooster incident mentioned in Coulter's column, the students responsible were, in fact, suspended for as much as three semesters.

Good lord, take a pill, dude. I can't enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the spa? I have to be grinding away over these hellish essays 25/8? Grunting and heaving and distorting my classic beauty and for nothing other than your idle amusement? And for what? Nothing, that's what. No thanks, no presents, no little backrubs as you pass. Just your typical cold stares and icy silences. I just don't know why I go on. Well that does it. We're through, is all, just through. I've had it and I'm done with it all. You want your fix, see your pusher, junkie. No more mainlining the Jack Express. Pathetic. Just pathetic. I can't believe what I fool I've been. I'm filled with self-loathing. Again. Thanks a lot for that, A. Yer a real pal.

I'm a white guy from Kenya, Or Scot-African, but Naw I'm just Kenyan... My mom is American, and I've lived in the USA for years.

I was recently back in Nakaru, Ken and My girl who is African-African, just plain ole black african asked me a question

Sweetie, Can you understand black people in America?

I said I suppose so, and then Relized she was talking about hip hop culture. I said Well I guess I have some troubles with slang in the States at times.

So Am I racist for not understanding American slang?
Or am I racist for not knowing that I can't be African, caues I'm white?

Or am I racist for having a Luhiya tribeswoman fianceƩ who thinks Black Americans are wasting their opportunities that black Africans would kill for?

Or are we only all just people, and those who seek to find differences in each other as a way to divide us, and be somehow victomized or different are the raicst ones, cause they don't want to come together in unity?

I'm just ranting, people still think I'm racist whenever I've said I'm african.

To which I say how long did you live in Africa?

It's odd, this term "black". In Australia it applies to the aborigines. In the British Raj it was the Indians. In the US its Africans. Well, not "Africans" -- but you know. There's a fella I know whose mother is white and father black. He's rather exotic looking, ambiguous, but he identifies as black. Why is that? Someone said, rather dogmatically, "That's the way it is." Strange how the philosophy of the old time slave-holding racists has been adopted and promoted by american blacks. A drop of black blood makes you black. A touch of the tar brush. Wouldn't it be nice if it were different. What a world.
