*TWENTY HEADLINES

We know what they’re not.

Maybe they’re a “Group,” like “Activists,” or maybe they’re “Criminals” or “Perpetrators,” like “Assailants” or “Attackers,” or maybe some sort of weapons carriers like “Bombers” or “Gunmen,” or maybe they’re “Captors,” like “Kidnappers” or “Hostage-takers,” or something political, like “Radicals” or “Militants” or “Extremists,” or something that might be noble and good, like “Separatists” or “Rebels” or “Insurgents” or “Guerrillas” or “Fighters” or “Commandos.”

They could be so many things.

But we know what they’re not.
Because “Islamist Terrorists” would be “Judgmental.”

Beslan.
